Church Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1 pt. sour cream
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    crushed crackers
    1/4 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Combine
    all but the last 2 ingredients in a casserole. Mix cracker crumbs with 1/4 cup melted butter and spread this mixture over
    the
    top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serves 12.
