Best-Ever Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. Calumet baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 egg, well beaten
3/4 c. milk
1/3 c. liquid shortening
Preparation

Mix together flour with sugar, baking powder and salt. Combine egg and milk and add all at once to flour mixture.
Add shortening.
Then stir only until dry ingredients are moistened. (Batter will be lumpy.)
Spoon into greased muffin pans, filling each about 2/3 full.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until done. Makes 10 muffins.
