Classic Pesto Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 heaping c. solidly packed fresh basil leaves
    4 cloves garlic, peeled
    1/2 c. pine nuts
    3/4 c. olive oil
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Be sure basil contains only leaves, no stems!
    Place basil, garlic and pine nuts in food processor until nearly smooth.
    Add oil and cheese; process again.
    (If making for freezer, omit cheese and add it when ready to use.)
    Makes about 1 cup or enough to dress 1 1/2 pounds of pasta.
