Kraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large jar or can chopped kraut
    2 c. chopped celery
    3 c. white onion, chopped
    2 c. bell pepper, chopped
    2/3 c. white vinegar
    2 c. white sugar
Preparation
    Heat sugar and vinegar but do not boil.
    Mix all vegetables together.
    Be sure the sugar is dissolved.
    Pour it over vegetables.
    Place in a tightly covered container in fridge.
    Stir often.
    Keeps well in fridge.
