Calamai Con Pomodoro(Squid With Tomatoes) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. squid
6 Tbsp. olive oil
pinch of oregano and dry basil
1 tsp. chopped parsley
1 1/2 c. solid pack tomatoes
1/2 c. dry white or red wine
2 cloves chopped garlic
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Clean squid.
Cut into small pieces.
Pour oil into saucepan and heat.
Brown garlic for 3 minutes.
Add squid.
Cover and saute for 10 minutes.
Add salt, pepper and basil.
Lower heat and cook 10 minutes.
Add tomatoes and parsley, cover and cook 15 minutes or until tender.
Serve very hot on heated dishes.
Serves 8.
