Ingredients

1 lb. carrots
3 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Slice carrots thinly into 1 1/2-inch strips.
Place brown sugar, butter, water, cinnamon and nutmeg into 1 1/2-quart microwavable dish and microwave on High for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes, until butter is melted.
Add sliced carrots and toss to coat evenly with brown sugar mixture.
Cover and microwave on High for 6 to 8 minutes, until carrots are tender.
