North Shore Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes, boiled in skins
    2 c. sour cream
    1 to 2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/2 medium onion, minced
    6 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Refrigerate cooked potatoes for 24 hours.
    Melt 4 tablespoons butter with cheese in double boiler.
    Add sour cream, salt, pepper and onion.
    Stir to blend.
    Remove from heat.
    Peel cold potatoes; grate and stir into cheese mixture.
    Put in oblong pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Good with baked ham!
