Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. chopped onions
2 cloves garlic
2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans
1 can tomato soup
1/2 c. water
2 Tbsp. chili powder
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation

In a 2-quart saucepan, melt oil and brown beef.
Add onions and garlic; pour off excess fat.
Add beans, soup, salt, water, chili powder, vinegar and pepper.
Stir well.
Heat to boiling; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
Stir occasionally. Serve with cornbread or rice.
Makes 6 servings.
