Hot Molasses Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. unsulphured molasses
    1/4 tsp. ground ginger
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. dark rum
    freshly grated nutmeg for garnishing
    2 pt. lemon Italian ice
    3/4 c. brandy
    2 bottles champagne
Preparation
    Mix together ice and brandy.
    Add champagne.
    Makes 8 (12 ounce) servings.
