Overnight Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large head cabbage, shredded
1 large onion, sliced
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. celery seed
1 Tbsp. dry mustard
3/4 c. olive oil
Preparation

Place alternate layers of the cabbage and onion in a bowl. Combine the sugar, vinegar, salt, celery seed, mustard and oil in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Pour over the cabbage mixture and cover airtight.
Refrigerate overnight.
Makes 12 servings.
