Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. strawberries
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 1/2 c. water
    dash of salt
    1 (3 oz.) box strawberry jello
    baked pie shell
Preparation
    Slice strawberries into baked pie shell.
    Mix sugar, cornstarch, water and salt in saucepan.
    Cook and boil 2 minutes until clear.
    Take from stove; add package of jello and few drops of red food coloring.
    Pour while still hot over strawberries. Chill.
    Serve with whipped cream.
