Florentine Layers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sweet Italian sausage
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 (32 oz.) Prego spaghetti sauce plus 1/2 jar
    1 (4 oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained
    1 (10 oz.) frozen spinach, thawed and well drained
    2 c. small curd cottage cheese
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 (1 lb.) pkg. spaghetti
    2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Cook sausage, onion and garlic.
    Drain.
    Stir in sauce and mushrooms.
    Bring to a boil.
    Simmer for 15 minutes.
