Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh cranerries
    about 1/2 c. sugar
    orange juice
    1 large can crushed pineapple, drained (save juice)
    1 double pkg. orange jello or 2 small pkg.
    2 c. boiling water
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. diced celery
    1 to 2 c. diced or chopped apples (if desired)
Preparation
    Wash fresh cranberries and pick out any soft ones.
    Put through a food chopper or processor.
    Put sugar over them and a little orange juice.
    Let sit awhile.
