Broth For Colds - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. water
    1 heaping Tbsp. chicken soup base (from Gordens) or your own broth
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 can water chestnuts and liquid from them
    little instant ginseng tea (Korean, optional)
    1/4 tsp. onion powder
Preparation
    Bring water to a boil.
    Add all ingredients; simmer for 5 or 10 minutes.
    Drink 1 cup 4 times a day.
