Spanish Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    1/2 c. flour
    1 egg
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    1 c. cream-style corn
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1/4 c. butter
    chili powder as desired
Preparation
    Grease a 10 3/4 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch pan.
    Add liquids to dry ingredients; blend in corn.
    Add cheese.
    Sprinkle cheese on top and add chili powder, also.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 25 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
