Shrimp Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raw rice
    2 to 3 lb. shrimp, shelled and deveined
    1 large bell pepper
    1 large onion
    1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1 (16 oz.) bottle Thousand Island dressing
    6 to 8 slices raw bacon
Preparation
    Cook rice and set aside.
    Chop onion and bell pepper.
    Saute in a small amount of drippings until cooked.
    Combine cooked rice, shrimp, onion, bell pepper and the can of mushrooms in a large rectangular greased 9 x 13-inch casserole.
    Stir in bottle of Thousand Island dressing.
    Cover with strips of raw bacon.
    Cook at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour, uncovered.
    Fluff with fork.
    Serves 8.
