Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 c. cold coffee
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
2 c. raw, diced apple
Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar and eggs.
Sift flour, soda and cloves.
Add to creamed mixture alternately with cold coffee. Stir in raisins, nuts and apples.
Bake in 6-inch tube pan or 9 x 13-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
