Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) pkg. hash brown potatoes
    1 1/2 sticks oleo
    1 c. onion, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1 pt. sour cream or cottage cheese
    2 c. corn flakes
Preparation
    Defrost potatoes; reserve 1/2 stick oleo (melted) and corn flakes.
    Add the rest of the ingredients and place in a 9 x 13-inch greased baking dish.
    Mix butter and corn flakes; sprinkle on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
