No. 2 Sausage Quiche - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 ready made, deep-dish pie crust
    1 Tbsp. softened butter
    1 pkg. sausage, cooked and crumbled
    4 eggs
    2 c. heavy cream
    3/4 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Place pie crust in pan and crease edges.
    Spread butter over pie crust.
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Whip together the eggs, sausage, seasonings and cheese.
    Place mixture in pie crust and sprinkle some cheese over top.
    Bake 15 minutes.
    Lower heat to 325\u00b0 and bake 35 minutes.
