Ingredients

1/2 c. warm water
1 pkg. active dry yeast
2 1/2 c. biscuit mix
1 egg, beaten
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
jam, preserves or canned pie filling
Preparation

In a mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in water.
Stir in biscuits mix, egg and 1 tablespoon of sugar.
Mix well.
Turn onto surface dusted with additional biscuit mix.
Knead gently for 20 strokes. Place dough into center of greased 15 1/2 x 12-inch baking sheet. Roll to 14 x 9-inches.
