Caramel Apple Cheesecake - cooking recipe

1 1/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
3 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 c. melted margarine
1 c. apple pie filling
1 large apple, cored, peeled and chopped
24 oz. cream cheese
2/3 c. dark brown sugar
5 tsp. flour
3 eggs
1 egg yolk
1 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
2/3 c. whipping cream
Preparation

In a small bowl, stir together the pie filling and chopped apple; set aside.
In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, brown sugar and flour.
Beat with electric mixer until smooth.
Add eggs and yolk, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Beat in cinnamon, extract and nutmeg.
Stir in whipping cream.
Pour half of the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
Spoon on 1 cup of the apple mixture.
Pour the remaining cream cheese mixture over the apple; top with remaining apple mixture.
Without disturbing the crust, swirl the blade of a knife throughout the filling to distribute the fruit evenly.
