Applesauce Yogurt Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 serving size) pkg. Jell-O (any red flavor)
    1 c. boiling water
    3/4 c. chilled unsweetened applesauce
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/2 c. vanilla yogurt
    apple slices (optional)
    mint leaves (optional)
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
    Measure 3/4 cup gelatin into small bowl; add applesauce and cinnamon.
    Pour into individual dessert dishes.
    Chill until set, but not firm.
    Chill remaining gelatin until slightly thickened.
    Blend in yogurt.
    Spoon over set gelatin in dessert dishes.
    Chill until set, about 2 hours. Garnish with additional yogurt, apple slices and mint leaves, if desired.
    Makes 4 servings.
