Milkless Butterless Eggless Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. water
1/3 c. shortening
1 c. raisins
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. nutmeats

Preparation

Bring sugar, water, shortening, raisins, nutmeg and cinnamon to a boil.
Boil for 3 minutes; let cool.
Mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and nutmeats.
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix well.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 30 minutes.
