Italian Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1 large can tomato paste
    2 qt. tomato juice
    1 Tbsp. basil leaves
    1 tsp. oregano
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation
    Heat oil and add garlic powder; brown 30 seconds.
    Add tomato paste; brown 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Add and stir to mix tomato juice, basil leaves, oregano and brown sugar.
    Simmer, stirring to prevent scorching only.
