Fried Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. fine yellow or white cornmeal
3/4 c. self-rising flour
1/4 tsp. salt or to taste
1 pkg. Sweet 'N Low
water
hot oil (canola or your choice (1/2-inch in frying pan)
Preparation

Mix ingredients in bowl (except oil). Add water and stir to soft consistency. Drop by spoonful into heated medium to medium-high temperature oil in large frying pan. Turn over to brown on other side. When golden brown, remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
