Pfeffernuesse(A Christmas Cookie) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 lb. (2 c.) sugar
    1 pt. heavy cream
    1 egg
    1 c. molasses
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. anise oil
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. mace
    1 tsp. cardamom
    2 Tbsp. baking powder
    flour (about 10 c.)
Preparation
    Flour may be kneaded in when ready to roll.
    Roll out and cut thimble size.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes until lightly browned. Eat by the hands full.
