Butterscotch Cherry Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium eggs
    2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat eggs with rotary beater in top of double boiler just until blended.
    Stir in brown sugar and butter.
    Place over rapidly boiling water, stirring constantly, until hot or about 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Sift together flour and baking powder.
    Add all at once to hot mixture.
    Mix well until blended. Stir in chopped nuts and vanilla.
