Crazy Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 oz.) pkg. chocolate pudding and pie filling (not instant)
    2 c. milk
    1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
    1/2 c. chopped nuts or coconut
    1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Place milk and pudding in saucepan; cook until thickened. Pour into a large bowl and while pudding is still hot, pour cake mix (as it comes from the package) into pudding.
    Mix well and pour into ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Spread chocolate chips over top.
    Sprinkle with nuts or coconut.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Cool.
    Cut into squares.
