Chinese Fried Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tsp. oil
    1 1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/4 c. chopped scallions, including tops, or use 1/4 c. chopped parsley
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1 1/2 c. dry Minute rice
Preparation
    Scramble egg in oil in saucepan, stirring to break into pieces. Add water, soy sauce, scallions and garlic; bring to a boil.
    Stir in rice.
    Cover, remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes.
    Stir. Makes 4 servings.
