Glazed Strawberry Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    dash of salt
    1 c. water
    2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
    1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 qt. fresh strawberries (small to medium), hulled
    6 baked tart shells
    whipped cream or sour cream (optional)
Preparation
    Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in small saucepan.
    Add water.
    Cook, stirring constantly, 6 to 8 minutes or until mixture is clear and thickened.
    Remove from heat.
    Add lemon juice and vanilla; cool slightly.
