Fig Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. mashed figs (approximately 20)
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    3 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix figs, Jell-O and sugar and bring to a boil; boil for 3 minutes.
    Place in 1/2-pint sterilized jars and put melted paraffin on top.
    Makes 6 jars.
