Screwball Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. cocoa
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. salad oil
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. white vinegar
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Sift all dry ingredients into ungreased pan.
    Make a big hole in the center and 2 small holes on either side.
    In the big hole, put 2/3 cup salad oil.
    In one small hole, 1 tsp. vanilla, in the other small hole, 2 teaspoons white vinegar.
    Pour 2 cups water over entire ingredients and mix thoroughly with a fork.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Frost as desired. Use 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
