Honeycutt'S Texas Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

10 lb. beef or deer meat, ground with a coarse blade
2 1/2 lb. beef tallow
2 Tbsp. garlic powder
2 Tbsp. black pepper
salt to taste
2 large onions, chopped
1 1/2 qt. water
2 oz. paprika
3/4 lb. chili blend (Morton blend)
1 c. flour (sifted slow)
Preparation

Cook first 8 ingredients for 1 1/2 hours.
Add chili blend and flour.
Cook and stir for 10 minutes more.
Pour in pan and let cool until sets up.
Cut in blocks, wrap, then freeze.
This makes about 20 pounds of chili.
