Southern Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    2 sticks margarine
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Sift together flour, salt and soda; set aside.
    Cream together margarine and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
    Then alternate sour cream and flour mixture.
    Add vanilla.
    Bake in a \"slightly greased\" 10-inch tube pan for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
