Chicken Picado - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 green peppers
    1 green onion, sliced
    2 Tbsp. oil
    4 chicken breasts, cut into strips
    4 to 6 cloves garlic
    1 c. Monterey jack cheese
    3 to 4 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Brown chicken slices in ovenproof pan.
    Remove with slotted spoon.
    Saute green peppers over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes.
    Add chicken back, cook until just done, remove from heat.
    Preheat broiler to high.
    Top chicken mixture with butter, garlic and cheese.
    Place under broiler 6 to 7 minutes, until well browned. Garnish with sliced green onion.
    Serve with warm tortillas and Spanish rice.
    Serves 4.
