Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
3 eggs, separated
1 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation

Sift flour, salt and baking powder together.
Beat egg yolks and add milk and butter.
Beat into flour mixture.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Pour 3 tablespoons butter onto hot griddle for each cake and bake until top is bubbly and edges look cooked.
Turn and cook until remaining side is brown.
