All-American Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    2 Tbsp. butter
    5 c. peeled, sliced Rome apples (can also use peaches or blueberries)
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 (9-inch) pie crusts
Preparation
    Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, allspice and butter with apples and lemon juice.
    Place in unbaked pie shell. Dot with butter.
    Place remaining pie shell on top.
    Cut slits for steam to escape.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until done.
