Peas With Bacon - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 slices bacon
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    2 tsp. flour
    1 c. light cream
    2 c. shelled fresh peas or 1 (10 oz.) frozen peas, thawed
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp; drain.
    Cook onion in bacon drippings until tender.
    Blend in flour, stir in light cream.
    Add peas, cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until peas are tender, 15 minutes for fresh peas.
    Add bacon, season to taste.
    Makes 4 servings.
