Meringue Mints - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. mint extract
    6 oz. chocolate chips
    pinch of cream of tartar
    3 to 5 drops food coloring of your choice
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Line 2 cookie sheets with brown paper. Beat egg whites until frothy.
    Add cream of tartar.
    Gradually add sugar and continue to beat on high until stiff peaks are formed.
    Fold in mint extract, food coloring and chocolate chips.
