Seven Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 heads lettuce, shredded
    5 bunches green onions, chopped
    5 green pepper, chopped
    2 bunches celery, chopped
    4 bunches radishes, chopped
    20 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
    3 pkg. frozen peas (10 oz.)
    10 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
    1 c. sugar
    2 1/2 lb. Cheddar or American cheese, grated
    1 c. bacon, fried crisp and crumbled or bacon bits
Preparation
    Layer lettuce in bottom of full size 4-inch serving pan.
    Layer onions, celery, pepper and radishes on lettuce.
    Layer thawed peas over vegetables.
    Layer chopped eggs over peas.
    Mix mayonnaise and sugar, spread over entire pan; seal edges.
    Sprinkle cheese and bacon over mayonnaise.
    Refrigerate overnight, covered.
    Garnish with radishes before serving.
    Yields 100 servings.
