French Breakfast Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. soft shortening (part butter)
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. sifted Gold Medal flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. milk
    6 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix thoroughly the shortening, 1/2 cup sugar (leaving 1/2 cup extra) and 1 egg.
    Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.
    Stir sifted mixture into the cream mixture alternately with 1/2 cup milk.
