Asparagus And Pea Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can cut asparagus, well drained
    1 (No. 2) can garden peas, well drained
    2 hard-boiled eggs
    1/2 c. butter
    4 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. or more sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. toasted almonds
    dash of salt and pepper
Preparation
    Assemble ingredients.
    Place a layer of asparagus in casserole and a layer of peas.
    Slice hard-boiled egg over this. Repeat layering process.
    Make a cheese sauce by melting butter in saucepan; carefully mix in flour, then milk.
    Add cheese.
    Cook over low heat until slightly thickened and cheese melts.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Pour cheese sauce over casserole.
    Sprinkle almonds on top.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
