Wesson Oil Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
2 1/4 c. flour
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 to 3/4 c. Wesson oil
1 1/2 c. sour milk
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. salt

Preparation

Mix all dry ingredients and sift through sifter.
Add Wesson oil and sour milk or buttermilk; mix thoroughly.
Nuts may be added if desired.
Bake in loaf pan at 350\u00b0.
