Fruit Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 to 1 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour or 2 1/2 to 3 Tbsp. quick cooking tapioca
1/2 tsp. cinnamon or 1/4 tsp. almond flavoring
1/2 c. fruit juice
3 1/2 to 4 c. fruit, drained
1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Cook the first four ingredients over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.
Pour over the drained fruit.
Mix lightly and pour into a 9-inch pie crust.
Dot with butter on top of fruit.
Cover with crust which has slits cut in.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes, turn oven down to 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes until crust is golden brown.
