Chicken Noodle Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked chicken, diced
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    6 c. water
    1/2 c. diced carrot
    2 chicken bouillon cubes
    1/4 tsp. marjoram
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
    1 bay leaf
    3 oz. medium noodles (1/4 of 12 oz. pkg.)
    1/2 tsp. parsley flakes
    salt to taste
Preparation
    In a large pot cook celery and onion in butter until tender. Add remaining ingredients, except noodles.
    Simmer 30 minutes. Remove bay leaf.
    Add noodles and cook 10 minutes longer or until noodles are tender.
    Makes about a half gallon.
