Glorious Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. dry beans (navy beans)
    1 lb. brown sugar
    chunk of salt pork
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1 sliced onion
    1 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Soak beans early in a.m. (to cook at night).
    Drain, in new water, boil until beans skins split when you blow on them.
    (I cube salt pork and add to beans when boiling; it gives them a shiny look.)
    Put all ingredients in crock-pot.
    Add beans and enough of the water you cooked them in to just cover the beans. Stir and cook on low all night.
