Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 tart cooking apples
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 to 2 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 c. white sugar
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Use favorite 2 crust pie pastry recipe. Divide into number of apples. Roll out.
    Place apple in center.
    Spoon 1 to 2 tablespoons sugar-cinnamon mixture into the cavity of pared, cored apple.
    Dot with butter.
    Wrap and seal.
    Place in baking dish in a 375\u00b0 oven.
