Cherry-Banana Dream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can cherries, drained
1 can crushed pineapple with juice
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1 small box dry orange jello
2 c. chopped pecans
6 bananas, chopped
red food coloring
Preparation

Heat fruit, sugar and flour; cook until thick, about 7 minutes.
Remove from heat and add dry jello.
Cool about 10 minutes.
Add pecans, bananas and food coloring.
Pour into cooked pie shells and put into icebox or freezer.
If pies are in freezer, allow 4 to 5 hours to thaw out.
Yields 3 pies.
