Snickerdoodle Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 3/4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Space about 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes or until brown, but still soft.
    Yields 5 dozen 2-inch cookies.
