Creamed Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 ears corn
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    2 tsp. sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. water
    2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. flour, dissolved in 1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Cut corn from the cob and place in pan.
    Add margarine, sugar, salt and pepper.
    Simmer gently for 15 minutes.
    Add milk and flour mixture.
    Cook on medium-low heat for 30 minutes, stirring to prevent sticking.
    If mixture becomes too thick, add additional milk or water.
